Shh! Don’t tell my cat.
reviewofmycat:

Colette
Appearance: A
“My cat is better looking than I am and she knows it. Whenever people come over to visit, they always compliment how beautiful she is and that I should put her in commercials or cat competitions. What they don’t know is that she has a glaring imperfection in the Birman world. All Birmans are noted for the “white socks” on their paws. Colette unfortunately has a front paw that is all gray. But we’re okay with that because we’re not the pageant type anyway.”
Sociability: B
“I’d like to think me and my boyfriend are Colette’s favorite companions. Mainly because we also exhibit cat behavior. We love to spend our time cuddling in bed and watching TV. When new people come over, she loves to be center of attention. She will roll over  and demand to be belly rubbed. From time to time, however, she does get a bit shy. In that case, she’ll watch our guests from afar (safely behind my bedroom door that’s slightly ajar) before deciding whether or not she wants to play or take a nap.”
Usefulness: B
“On occassion she will kill the occasional housefly or another apartment pest. She will almost always comfort me when I cry. But I wish she did more practical things like bury her poop in her litter box. Other than that, she is incredibly obedient, and unless I stray from her routine, I never have to worry about her wreaking havoc in my apartment.”
Huggability: C
“When I first got Colette, she hated to be snuggled. I, on the other hand, am full of love. Over time, we’ve come to a compromise. She’ll stay still while I smother her for at least 5-7 Mississippis tops. Other than that, I’m out of luck. Winter’s near so she’ll cuddle with me under the sheets or while I’m on my laptop. So I guess her “huggability” is dependent on her need for body heat.”
Overall Grade: B
